We have been learning the kupu Māori to describe our feelings.  We showed the feelings on our face.

Haikai - Hungry

Hiainu - Thirsty

Ora - Awesome

Wera - Hot

Makariri - Cold

Māuiui - Sick

Pai - Good

Harikoa - Happy

Pōuri - Sad

Nature walk to try to find seeds

 We went for a walk around kura to see if we could find any seeds.  Have a look at what we discovered...

Mahi Toi using nature

We went for a walk around the kura.  We found lots of different things like leaves, twigs and rocks.  Then we worked in a rōpū creating mahi toi with what we found.  Have a look at our creations:
