Making Matariki Whetu

Today we could choose to make whetu out of fairy bread.  We had a great time cutting out the whetu using cutters.  First we had to butter the bread and then put the sprinkles on top.  We did a great job of buttering our bread even though some of us found it a bit tricky.  Once we had made the fairy bread we then had to use the whetu shaped cutters to cut out star shapes.  We enjoyed eating them they were delicious!!
