Today we read some books about Greedy Cat. We then drew a picture of a cat. We put all the pictures together and sorted them in different ways. Firstly we sorted them by colour.
We discovered that there were more black cats than any other colour. There were 7 black cats. There were 4 cats that were orange just like Greedy Cat.
We then had a think about another way we could group the cats. We decided that we would group them by size.
We decided to put all the big cats together, all the medium size cats together and all the small cats together. We discovered that the largest group was the small cats because there was 9 in that group. The smallest group was the big cats. There were 2 in that group.
We then worked with a buddy and looked at different pictures of cats. We had to decide together how we would group them.
